Bernie Sanders, the far-Left socialist from Vermont running
for President, has shown the strength and leadership he would bring to Washington
– and the country – when he allowed a group of “Black Lives Matter” activists
to take his microphone from him and take over his rally in Seattle during a campaign rally last summer. Of course, by easily caving to these radicals and giving them the stage
– and then proposing billions in wasteful government spending to placate them-
Sanders is showing his true colors as a weak and clueless politician.
If he can allow a group of thugs to take over his rally that
easily, push him off stage and force him to cancel his speech at his own event,
imagine how easily he will be pushed around the world stage by far more
dangerous – and well equipped - tyrants?
It’s unimaginable.
Sanders, who claims to be a “democratic socialist” (an
oxymoron, if there ever was one) but is actually much more of a hard core
communist based on his track record and his previous stated beliefs, is the
politician who claims that we Americans have too many different choices and
brands of deodorant and sneakers in our country and that’s causing child hunger. Yes, it’s our free market that’s doing us in
and starving poor children, Bernie. Not a bad economy hampered by the socialist,
anti-business policies that he advocates, and that have been drying up the jobs
he’s focused on and putting millions on food stamps.
In
an interview with financial journalist John Harwood, Sanders
detailed his grievances with an overabundance of antiperspirants and footwear.
"You don't necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or of
18 different pairs of sneakers when children are hungry in this country. I
don't think the media appreciates the kind of stress that ordinary Americans
are working on."http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/257545/bernie-sanders-foul-socialist-odor-michelle-malkin
It is clear to his vacant economic brain that capitalism and
market forces, which are historically proven to bring the greatest economic and
social prosperity the world has ever known, is the problem. Not, of course,
invasive socialist government programs that steal from the productive of
society to redistribute to the non-productive in the most corrupt and inefficient
ways possible.
The Sanders campaign and all of its “economic genius” –
which includes stifling small business, massive increased taxes (proposing a
90% tax for top earners), increased government regulation and decreased
liberties and freedoms – has decided that the way to cave to the “Black Lives
Matter Movement” radicals is to give billions of our taxpayer dollars to job
programs that have no chance of accomplishing anything, other than a feel-good
progressive campaign message and draining more money from our economy and add
to our $19 Trillion dollar debt. The fact the progressive’s “War on Poverty” and
“War on Hunger” are total failures under liberal Democrat rule – with almost
100 million Americans on food assistance programs today, the most in history –
doesn’t phase socialist Sanders. He now wants more of the same with his
proposed youth jobs program.
Right after the “Black Lives Matter” protesters stormed the
stage at Sanders’ event, he
called for a $5.5 billion federal jobs program to provide benefits to
unemployed youths of color, and to counter what he calls “economic violence”
against people of color. But what Sanders and the Left fails to acknowledge is
that it’s the absence of a sheer number of adequate jobs that is driving the
unemployment of youths – black or white – and not the absence of government
funded jobs programs.
In a
report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), it found that there are
47 different federal employment and training programs, with considerable
overlap among them. The GAO said that "little is known about the effectiveness
of employment and training programs we identified." Staggering.
American
taxpayers have been taken to the cleaners and funding these sorts of programs
since the 1960s, yet federal auditors still aren't sure whether or not they
actually work. The Federal Government
spends close to $20 Billion on jobs programs with no known benefit, and it has
begun major jobs programs as far back as the 1930’s. Many New Deal government
jobs programs then became known for their wastefulness; the lazy Works Progress
Administration (WPA) worker was a pervasive stereotype then, and wasteful government
employment programs have been known for massive inefficiency and lack of
results.
Government
employment programs don't fill any critical economic need that private markets
don't already fill. It’s just a chance
for progressive policymakers – who love to waste taxpayer money - to show that
they are "doing something" to help the labor market. After 80 years of these jobs programs, they
have been proven to be failures and cost the economy countless billions.
So
yes, Bernie Sanders, let’s drain the economy further and tax, tax, tax so we
can spend and waste another $5.5 Billion on your proposed youth jobs program
that will surely fail and add to our gigantic budget deficit. I’m sure the “Black Lives Matter” protesters
won’t push you off stage again.
